Joseph Edward Lewis Muir (1875-1963) became a member of Ashlar Lodge No. 3 circa 1904 remained a member of Ashlar Lodge No. 3 until his death in 1963. We will do some additional research to find the exact date he was Initiated. He  We will also add biographical details as we do additional research.

Joseph Edward Lewis Muir is buried in Bowen Road Cemetery alongside his father, Archibald Muir, a member of Ashlar Lodge No. 3 who was killed in the Esplanade Mine No. 1 explosion on 3 May 1887.

Joseph Edward Lewis Muir is buried beside his father Archibald Muir, who died in the Esplanade Mine explosion on 3 May 1887.
