Deceased Brethren

Our Ashlar Lodge No. 3 Historian recently came across the grave of Ernest Baker (1888-1975) and Maude Victoria Baker (1890-1994) in Bowen Road Cemetery, Nanaimo, B.C.

The Ernest Baker grave marker displays the Masonic Square & Compasses and the Order of the Eastern Star symbol. The Maude Victoria Baker grave marker displays the Order of the Eastern Star symbol.

Our Ashlar Lodge No. 3 Historian has not yet had time to do any research on Ernest Baker (1888-1975) and Maude Victoria Baker (1890-1994) so at this time we cannot provide any biographical details or Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter information.

We will do research in future and post any information we find.

Note: the tire tracks on the graves in these photos were apparently caused by cemetery maintenance vehicles.
