Solomon David Levi was a Charter member of Nanaimo Lodge, No. 1090 in 1867. Lodge records describe him as Solomon David Levi, aged , occupation: merchant.
Solomon Levi was also a Charter member of Caledonia Lodge, No. 478 in Nanaimo in 1867.
At present we do not have much information on Solomon David Levi but we will add more as we uncover it.
What we have learned about him so far is tragic; three of his children died of illness in August 1875 and are buried in the Victoria Jewish Cemetery. (The Congregation Emanu-el website has more information about this – note PDF.)
