A Petition for Initiation from Charles A. Elliott was received by Ashlar Lodge at the Regular Meeting on 6 April 1898.
“A Petition for Initiation into the mysteries of Masonry [was received] from Mr. Charles A. Elliott, [age] 28, [occupation] physician, Chemainus was read and…..referred to the following Committee of Investigation, namely: Bros. Thurston, Richardson and H.D.R. Stewart…..”
