Deceased Brethren

Our Ashlar Lodge No. 3 Historian recently came across the grave of Adam G. Watson (1867-1940), in Bowen Road Cemetery, Nanaimo, B.C.

Adam G. Watson was a member of Ashlar Lodge No. 3. We will do some research on his Masonic history and biographical details and post what we find.

The grave marker also lists Adam G. Watson’s wife, Catherine Watson (1884-1957) and his son Adam G. Watson Jr., who was “killed at No. 10 Mine, South Wellington”, aged 27. We will do some research on this coal mining incident which took the life of Adam G. Watson Jr. and post what we find out.
